2. Website operation, hosting and downloads
Accessing pages or files involves processing connection data, including IP address, time, requested URL, referring page where supplied, and browser and system information. These data are used to deliver the website, investigate errors and maintain security. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable project website.
The website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. Hosting data processing is governed by Article 28 GDPR. See the hosting provider’s privacy information. Technical log retention follows the configured hosting security and retention rules. Logs are required only for their stated purpose; specific security incidents may require longer preservation. Public documents can be downloaded without registration.
3. Language settings and cookies
The domain, language URL and, where applicable, language information supplied by your browser determine the displayed language. After you deliberately use the language switcher, the website stores the gps_language_choice cookie for up to one year. It contains the selected language, not your name or email address, and is used for the requested language feature rather than advertising. You can delete it in your browser or choose another language. The relevant bases are section 25(2) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Editors signing into WordPress also use the cookies required for authentication, security and operation. Reading the project pages does not require an account.
4. Email enquiries
We use the contact details and message content you provide to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in responding. Messages are deleted when no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations or other legitimate grounds require continued storage.
5. External resources and maps
The theme loads fonts and display resources from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) and the Tailwind CDN (cdn.tailwindcss.com) when pages are opened. The map page additionally loads Leaflet resources from unpkg.com and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. These services receive connection data, including IP address, needed to provide their resources. The purpose is readable presentation and displaying project partners on the map; the basis for technical presentation is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Provider information: Google, Tailwind, unpkg and OpenStreetMap Foundation. External services may process data outside the EU/EEA; their notices explain recipients and international transfer arrangements.
6. External videos
YouTube or Vimeo players are loaded only after you select “Load external video”. Until then, the theme shows a locally provided poster image. Activating a player connects to its provider, which may process connection data and use cookies or similar storage according to its settings. Activation relies on consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, section 25(1) TDDDG. Reloading the page without reactivating the video prevents further connections from that player; this does not undo processing that has already occurred. See YouTube / Google and Vimeo.
7. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Articles 15–20). You may withdraw consent for the future and object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation (Article 21). You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including in your place of residence or work (Article 77). The Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA) handles complaints involving private-sector organisations in Bavaria.
